Because the kibble is high density, you feed 20-25% less than other foods. Each serving delivers maximum nutrition without fillers. Lamb/Millet/Rice Dog Food

This dog food is very rich and highly digestible in the dog's system - care must be taken not to over-feed. The same advice is given with our regular Flint River Ranch Puppy and Adult Dog Food. Because the food is concentrated, a standard 8 ounce cup holds 4/2 ounces of food. This compares to an average 3.3 ounces in most extruded dog foods.
When you compare the 40 pound regular Flint River Ranch dog food with the 40 pound Lamb, Millet and Rice, the price difference is about 9 cents a pound. A standard 8 oz cup will hold 4.3 ounces of food. Feeding 2.5 to 3 cups a day is about 6 to 7 cents a day. It is far less expensive than prescription diet foods.
